Our approach
Ceeds of Kindness Foundation respects the privacy of the children, families, volunteers, partners and supporters who connect with us. We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to respond to inquiries and coordinate participation.
Information you choose to share
When you contact us, you may provide your name, email address, interests and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, coordinate volunteering or partnership conversations and maintain necessary communication records.
Children’s information
We do not intentionally collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website without a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a child. Please do not include sensitive information about a child in the contact form.
Photographs
Photographs appearing on this website are used with permission. Permission for photographs involving children is managed separately from the website contact form.
Storage and retention
Contact submissions are stored through our website hosting provider and are available only to people who need them to respond. We retain contact submissions for up to 24 months, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an active matter or by law.
Service providers
We share information only with service providers needed to operate the website, store submissions, deliver email or support our communications. They may process limited information on our behalf and are expected to protect it appropriately.
Promotional email
We do not add you to promotional email communications unless you have given explicit consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
Donations and external services
If you follow a link to email, social media or a future donation provider, that service will handle information according to its own privacy policy. We will update this notice when a direct online donation service is connected.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or ask us to delete information that is no longer required, subject to any applicable recordkeeping obligations.
